The location is perfect right by the beach and close to the ferry docks. Clean rooms but the breakfast options were pretty limited. Great access to bike tours and walking paths nearby.

Location is fantastic and close to the ferry docks. Rooms had great views of the lake. Breakfast options were limited and the coffee wasn’t fresh. Lots of activities nearby, like bike tours and beach access.

From check-in, the staff made our 10th anniversary so special! We loved the lake view upgrade and the sweet towel swans were a delightful surprise. Plus, the heated pool and hot breakfast were just what we needed to relax and enjoy our stay!

The balcony with a water view was fantastic—a true highlight. The room itself, though old, was clean, but definitely in need of a refresh; the outdated decor was a bit off-putting. Breakfast options were limited, and the dining area was overly hot, which made for an uncomfortable start to the day. The staff seemed overwhelmed and didn’t handle check-in issues well, particularly regarding our room situation. While there were a few decent restaurants nearby, the overall experience felt a bit lacking for the price, especially around the busy holiday weekend.

I was really frustrated with the lack of accessibility at this hotel. My wife struggled to get to our room due to a long trek with an inconvenient elevator location. The shower situation was tough too—definitely not suitable for her needs!

Great location. Beautiful lake view, clean rooms, and no musty odors to be found. The pool and hot tub? Fantastic. We spent hours enjoying both, even with a crowd. Staff was friendly and attentive, truly enhancing our experience. breakfast was a letdown. Limited hot options—roast beef biscuits didn't cut it. Coffee lacked flavor, and communication about breakfast times was inconsistent. Accessibility needs improvement. Handicap parking is limited, and pathways to get around can be cumbersome. Minor updates like more breakfast choices and a clearer layout would elevate this stay. Would return, especially for the stunning sunrises and sunsets. Just wish the breakfast and accessibility issues were addressed.

The bed was comfortable and allowed for a restful night’s sleep. A large TV with full cable provided great entertainment options. the room showed signs of wear, like cobwebs in the bathroom that felt uninviting. Temperature control was effective, keeping the room cozy. Noise levels were moderate; I could hear guests in the hall. The room layout had its quirks with the entrance shared by multiple doors, which could disrupt privacy. Despite some imperfections, the overall ambiance was pleasant, especially with the stunning beach views visible from the room.

The pool was great for the kids and the fitness center helped me keep up with my workouts The shuttle service to the nearby attractions was super convenient and saved us from all that walking.
It wasn't inexpensive but the amount of amenities made it worth it.

The location was great, close to many attractions.
The bathroom was filthy and the sheets were old. The staff did not honor my request for a handicapped room and the elevator was far from the lobby.

Location was fantastic! Rooms were nice with air conditioning and comfy beds. Loved the hot tub, but a bit too much chlorine. Breakfast was decent. Staff was friendly but check-in was a hassle due to confusion over pricing. Cleanliness could improve—found some trash in one bathroom. great for the price.

Chilled at Animal Tracks Adventure Golf and got spooked at Mackinaw Manor Haunted Mansion. Room was comfy, breakfast yummy, and beach vibes were on point! Best vacay with the squad!
Wish there was a cooler hangout spot for late-night fun - like a rooftop lounge or bar! .

I chose Best Western for its proximity to Alexander Henry Park, which I wanted to visit. However, the free wifi surprised me, and I enjoyed relaxing at the bar/lounge.

The view from the room was amazing, right on the lake! The staff was super nice and even allowed us to check in early. Plus, the pool hours were great, we could swim even after coming back late from our adventures.
Housekeeping was disappointing - towel mix-ups and even the pillowcases were left on the chairs. The morning of the mess happened;

i loved the location of the hotel. it was in walking distance to some of the main activities. the lakeside room was a plus. it was exciting to see the fireworks. also i liked that breakfast was included. the front desk gal on thursday night was amazing. she called restaurants to stay open for us. the pool & spa were awesome, the beds were comfortable, and the fitness center was spacious. it was by far one of the best hotel stays i've had in a while.

I enjoyed indulging in piping hot waffles with a view of the private beach. Safety first - carbon monoxide detector, check! I dabbled in the trendy waterpark scene, feeling right at home.
I loved waking up to the soothing sound of the occupants above me, every step of the way! .

Our room at Best Western was comfortable and spacious, with a high ceiling which I really liked. The staff was friendly and the check-in process was fast, which was great after a long journey. The location of the hotel was convenient, being close to restaurants and the ferry terminal. there were a few issues that detracted from our overall experience. The breakfast was not up to par - the oatmeal seemed to have dairy in it, which caused my wife and daughter to feel sick. the deadbolt in our room didn't work, and despite reporting it to the front desk, there was no follow-up. The slow drain in the tub was also a nuisance, leading to water pooling during showers. Despite these drawbacks, we found the room itself to be clean and tidy, which was a relief. The hotel itself seemed a bit dated and in need of renovations, especially in the bathrooms where we noticed dirt in the corners. The balcony railing was a bit loose, adding to the feeling of wear and tear throughout the property. our stay at Best Western had its ups and downs. The friendly staff and convenient location were positives, but the issues with breakfast and room maintenance left something to be desired.

The room was spacious with a cozy bed, a luxurious jet-bath tub, and a lovely seating area. The hotel's prime beachfront location allowed easy access to the beach, local shops, and restaurants, creating a perfect blend of relaxation and convenience.
There were issues with bugs on the premises, and the pillows were uncomfortable. the noise from the air-con and dehumidifier was disruptive at night.

Great location for shopping and dining, clean and refurbished hotel, friendly staff, convenient shuttle service, beautiful view.
Felt so comfortable, no complaints whatsoever.
